The RAO presently is looking for additional volunteers to help fellow retirees and their families. Those interested, please call or Email us for details:The Retired Activities office is available to assist retirees with entitlements, local installation regulations, privileges, legal assistance and benefits, including health care, education, retired pay and allowances and VA Disability compensation. Spouses, surviving spouses and former spouses who retain a valid ID card can receive information about ID card renewal, death gratuity, burial benefits, Survivors Benefit Plan and medical benefits.
The Retired Activities Office (RAO), MCRD, is a central point for all military retirees and family members to obtain information on issues which affect them, provide reliable answers, and refer retired members to appropriate service organizations.
NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS
A representative from the Department of Veteran Affairs Office will be on site at Marine and Family Services, Bldg 14, come in and ask questions about your benefits: Education, Medical, Home loans, and much more.
Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Walk-in hours are from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Appointment hours are 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
